New Science Subdivision

I am excited! Yesterday I received my orders from Starfleet to work on the newest GFC-Science Subdivision: Xenology. They want me to lead the Subdivision, together with Commodore Falo Priestman, my old friend and mentor from GFC Linguistics.

I am amazed that he will be my Assistant Lead and I am glad to have him on board.

What makes me even more happy is that Captain Isra Laval is joining Xenology, too. She has been my mate and comrade for many years of service, and so I am glad that she will be with me on this journey.

Ok, so here we are with Xenology, Commodore Priestman, Captain Laval and me. Where will it lead us ? We shall see.

I have a gazillion plans already in mind, yet I will wait for our first meeting in just an hour.

Xenology – that generally may be defined as the scientific study of all aspects of extraterrestrial life, intelligence, and civilization. Our mission, explore and scientifically study what’s out there.

Together with many disciplines of science we are looking for the what, where and how of extraterrestrial life. There are the fields of Xenobiology, Xenoarchaeology, Xenorobotics, Xeno-economics, Xenoecology, Astronomy Science, Xeno-Oceanology, Xenoengineering, Xenoethnology, Xensociology, as well as Xenomusicology and Xenolinguistics –  just to name a few.

Those branches of service will be instated within the XL-Subdivision as Departments and be brought together to complete any scientific approach XL is going to make in its future.

And I wish it a bright one.

Last but not least I want to say that it is an honor for me to lead such a great Subdivision and personnel , like Falo and Isra, whom I definitely count as my friends. Great officers and beings.”
