USS Cymru RP – “The Search for the Shuttle Pt.1”
USS Cymru Ship Log
Executive Officer Commander Sophie Johnson reporting
Commanding Officer: Captain Malic Skytower
Hours after setting a course for the Cardassian DMZ, Captain Skytower began to study the star charts in an attempt to verify the coordinates and information he received from his Ferengi friend at the Junkyard Space Station in the L’Tina system. As the Captain sat studying in his Ready Room, Commander Johnson sat in the centre chair maintaining the calm and concentration of the crew while they worked.
Minutes later, the Captain rushed from his Ready Room and stood in the center of the Bridge. He ordered the helm to change course for the Badlands where the Dominion had eradicated the Marquis several months before. As Ensign Rose changed course, Commander Johnson and Lt. Commander Weatherwax couldn’t help but notice the urgency in the Captain’s voice – they knew this could end up in trouble.
During the venture to the Badlands, Johnson confronted Captain Skytower about his intentions after he mentioned a ‘stealth mission’. After Ensign Rose clearly turned from the line of duty, Commander Johnson had no choice but to relieve him from duty, but she knew there would be a time in the near future where his services would no doubt be required.
Seconds later, a Klingon Vor’Cha Class decloaked off the starboard bow. The Klingon Captain requested to have their Federation Liason beam aboard the Cymru and observe the rest of the Cymru’s mission as the Klingon’s knew about the Romulan’s new ship.
With Ensign Visage holding Rose in the Brig, Johnson greeted the Liason Officer onboard and escorted him to the Bridge. Captain Skytower allowed and authorised the assistance of the Klingon to help with the mission. The Klingon stated he knew the Badlands well and offered his service. The Captain graciously accepted.
Dropping out of Warp, the Cymru found itself a man short of a decent chance of survival. Commander Johnson had Ensign Rose reinstated temporarily, as his piloting skills would be put to the test against the violent Plasma Storms inside the Badlands. The ship twisted and turned, sharp swings with the Manoeuvring Jets caused people to fall from their seats – it even made the Klingon feel queasy.
After spending nearly 40 minutes dodging Plasma Storms, the Cymru reached its destination – the next order would soon follow.

DS19 – New Ideas Create New RP’s
One of the main reasons for RPing in an area like Deep Space 19 Prosperous Station is to create a more immersive environment where different types of RPing can succeed.
Earlier this week such an RP was put into action. First you take a group who comes to the station interested in RPing here, a few discussions about storylines, an away mission here and there, before you know it a whole new story arc is created. This friday we saw the culmination of that story arc and one of the blueprints which shows how RP can actually be done here and work.
Deep Space 19 Station Log: Edward Auxifur & Sophie Jonhnson
The team, consisting of both Commanders of DS19: Commander Phantom and Commodore Desade, along with Senior Science Officer Auxifur and other members of DS19, constantly searched the lands, eventually coming across a winged beast, thought to be the legendary Pegasus.
After meeting a number of others, and gradually learning of the worlds background, the virus was created on Vulcan by a team of Suraeens and that a particular disease had plagued the land: Deeja Duru (Vulcan for Healing Trance).
The disease was not fully understood, however it was discovered that it only effected Vulcans, and resulted in a change in the DNA structure. The team returned to DS19, studying and analyzing a sample of DNA taken from a Vulcan resident.
A few days passed, and it was beginning to make sense that the disease was more serious than was originally thought. Doctor Scorpio – a Vulcan Doctor holding secrets to the disease from the land of Tow-Kath had also been put into a state of coma, and had gone missing over the past few days.
It was decided that a team had to be assembled to focus purely on the Deeja Duru virus. Lead by Commander Edward Auxifur, the team was given a science vessel (USS Gamese) to constantly monitor the planet while in orbit.
More days passed, and the members of DS19 faced immediate shock as Doctor Scorpio appeared in DS19 along with another federation team who had retrieved her.
While away on Tow-Kath, Captain Auxifur was informed by a dragon-like being that the ‘Golden Waters’ were the cure for the Deeja Duru virus. He had already retrieved a sample, and after a while of panic and intensity, gave the Waters to the unconscious Dr. Scorpio, thus awakening her from her coma state.
Dr.Scorpio informed Auxifur that the Golden Waters were not the complete cure, and another type of Water, the ‘Azure Waters’ back on Tow-Kath only completed the cure for Vulcans.
It was then found that the disease had unknowingly spread across various quadrants, effecting thousands, even millions who have no idea that they have the disease.
The cure is still unknown – and both DS19 and the world of Tow-Kath must find it, and save millions.
